Referrals

A written referral is required from a doctor, health professional, lawyer, rehabilitation consultant, or third-party provider. The referral should include the client’s name, date of birth, and contact details, as well as the reason for referral, background medical history, and other relevant information. Please supply copies of previous medical investigations, psychological assessments, and neuroimaging reports where applicable.

Dr Russell is registered to provide assessments for a range of third-party referrers including WorkCover Qld, NDIS, NIISQ, TAC, Department of Veteran’s Affairs, and BUPA-ADF Health Services.

Fees

The cost of an assessment varies upon the reason for the referral and time taken to complete an assessment. Please contact us to discuss this further.

Note: There are no Medicare rebates for neuropsychological assessments, although some private health funds may provide a small rebate. You will need to check with your health fund.
